Welcome to the search help page. This facility allows you to
efficiently search for a particular item in the Keels and Wheels database.
The selection boxes will allow you to select Make and Model.
Our web site search engine presents only makes and models that are
actually in our database.
The free text search works much like any internet search
engine. When searching for a text, it will deliver a list of records that
match that text. The free text search will match any text in the
following fields:
Make, Model, Year, Phone, Price, Ad Text, Company Name.
Here are some quick examples of a search:

The string 'Ford F150 hitch' will match all entries with 'Ford' and 'F150'
and 'hitch' occurring in the ad. Please note that because the general public
can submit ads, permutations like 'F-150' or 'F150' are common. You may check
the model dropdown box if such permutations exist.
The search engine will also match any string within strings.
Thus the search criteria 'Ford 150 hitch' will match
'Ford truck $15000 with hitch'.
To search for a phone number, please enter them verbatim as they are
formatted in the database. Our phone number notation is '(941) 123-4567'
(note the space)
The search engine will not search private ad contact names.

Search engine specifications: All searches are case insensitive.
The word order of search string represents the order of matches. The
search wildcard character is '%'.
